The service and operator
PosterTiler is operated by mileschen, an individual based in Mainland China, trading as PosterTiler. Contact support@postertiler.com for service questions or rights concerns.
PosterTiler provides browser-based image tiling, poster-size calculation, image-to-PDF merging, PDF page tiling, life-size scaling and halftone effects. You download the files and print, cut and assemble the sheets yourself. We do not supply a physical printed poster.
The current local tools and ordinary poster PDF exports are free, have no watermark and require no account. Any future paid capability will be clearly identified and priced before purchase. Ordinary local poster exports will remain free.
Optional sign-in
Google sign-in is optional. Use an account you are authorized to use and protect access to it. Signing in provides a basic profile and a browser session; it does not purchase processing credits, create a paid order or upload your files. This release does not keep a permanent account database. You can sign out on the Account page; other browsers have their own sessions. All current free tools remain available without sign-in.
Cloud PDF sandbox
Optional cloud processing is available on the Account page using Stripe sandbox credits. This release charges no real money. The displayed reference plans are Cloud Single ($1.99 for 1 credit) and Cloud Pack ($5.99 for 5 credits); use test card data only. Sandbox credits are not real-money purchases and cannot be cashed out. No subscription is created.
One supported image and confirmed settings form one task. Starting reserves one available credit. A successfully stored PDF consumes that credit exactly once. A failed or canceled task releases its reservation; this is a credit release, not a cash refund. A task that has already succeeded cannot be canceled to undo its use. Duplicate submissions for the same unexpired result reuse that result. Changing the image or settings creates a new task. Downloading an available result again does not consume another credit.
This version supports JPG up to 20 MiB and 100 megapixels, and 8-bit non-interlaced PNG up to 8 MiB and 4 megapixels, with neither side above 30,000 pixels. RGB/grayscale JPG is supported; CMYK JPG, animated PNG, WebP, professional PDF, batch processing and AI are not included in this cloud release. Up to 400 poster sheets and a 30,000 mm finished dimension per side are allowed. One task per account may hold a credit at a time. Upload within 10 minutes; queued/processing work has a 20-minute deadline, up to three automatic attempts and up to three manual retries where available.
Files and authenticated downloads expire 24 hours after task creation. Scheduled deletion normally follows within 5 minutes, with retries after outages. Keep your own copy before expiry. Purchased test credits do not have a timed expiry; test data may be reset as part of sandbox maintenance. Printing, cutting and assembly remain your responsibility. For a service issue, contact support@postertiler.com with the task/order reference, without attaching private files unnecessarily. Real-money payment and refund terms will be presented before live sales are enabled. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you have in the files you use. You must have the permissions needed to use, reproduce and display the content, including permissions concerning identifiable people where applicable. Processing a file does not give you copyright, trademark or other rights in it.
Selecting a file in a local tool does not give us permission to publish it in the Gallery or use it for promotion. Gallery examples are provided for trying the tool and do not grant rights in other images. Use your outputs consistently with the rights in their source material.
Appropriate use
Use supported files and respect the technical limits shown in each tool. Do not use the service to infringe rights, distribute unlawful material, interfere with the website or other users, or bypass security and resource limits.
You must have the legal capacity or appropriate authorization to use the service. If you are a minor, involve a parent, guardian or responsible educator as required by applicable law.
Output and printing
Review the preview, selected subject bounds, finished dimensions, paper, margins, overlap and page order before exporting. Life-size height refers to the selected image rectangle; the tool cannot identify or verify a person's actual height. Halftone and CMYK-style screens are visual treatments; the CMYK-style effect is combined RGB artwork rather than professional color-separation plates or an ICC proof.
PDF support has documented limits. Flatten unsupported layers, forms and printable annotations before using them. Existing raster content remains raster; PDF tiling does not create missing image detail or embed missing source fonts.
Printer margins, source quality, scaling, ink, paper and assembly affect the physical result. Use matching paper and Actual Size / 100% printing, and follow the calibration and assembly guidance. The service does not guarantee an identical result on every printer. These practical limitations do not remove rights you have for a defect under applicable law.
Keep copies of files you download. Before sharing, check both content permissions and private information in the source and output. The tools do not provide content-rights clearance or PDF sanitization.
Privacy
Read the Privacy Policy for local processing, website delivery and support email. Analytics permission is separate from these terms; declining analytics does not affect the free tools. The Cookie Policy describes browser storage and controls.
Availability and responsibility
We may maintain, update or temporarily interrupt the service and restrict abusive or unlawful use to protect it. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular artistic or physical printing result. Responsibility and remedies remain subject to applicable law; nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Questions, disputes and updates
Email support@postertiler.com with a description of the issue or rights concern. Include only the information needed to investigate it. Applicable mandatory laws and the courts with jurisdiction remain available; these terms do not require you to waive non-waivable consumer protections or use private arbitration.
We will show an effective date for updated terms. Future paid-service terms will be explained before purchase and will not silently change the free-service promise.
